By taking legal action, we hold stakeholders accountable for their actions and push for greater protection of animal cruelty.
This positioning is hinged onto the institution’s 5 year strategic plan to objective of using the law to promote sustainability and compassion. Up to date, we have brought to attention to the plight of animals and the injustices they face, raising awareness and sparkling conservation about the ethnical treatments of animals.
By successfully challenging the laws and policies that enable animal exploitation, we have created real change in how animals are treated in our community. This has led to improved living conditions for animals and greater legal protection for animals.
Currently, we have established paralegals in Entebbe Municipality that educate the local community on how animals should be treated. This has lead to a great improvement in the protection of animals from cruelty.

Overall, Action for Veganism and Climate is using strategic litigation as an important tool in challenging the status quo, raising awareness creating change, holding relevant stakeholders accountable and advocating for justice for animals, environment and people’s health.
We are cognizant of the fact that sustaining our vision and mission requires weaving the intricate connections between the local, national, regional and International partnerships and collaborations. As such therefore, we have invested our capacity to engage with regional and international organizations as well as learn from learn from them.
