Educational Institution outreaches
We strive to create a society where all students and pupils have access to health food choices in education institutions.
In order to achieve this, we reach out to schools, colleges, institutes and universities through initiatives like plant powered campus, vegan school lunch program and the vegan school outreaches.
We aim at teaching students and pupils the signifance of adopting sustainable food systems and compassionate choices. We strongly believe these students will extend what they have learnt beyond the classrooms.

Furthermore, we use research to identify areas of improvements within advocacy for sustainable food systems and compassionate choices movement, leading to more strategic and effective advocacy efforts.
Sustainable Bites, Greener Futures: Advocating for Vegan Policy Change
Action for Veganism and Climate uses research to support policy change on behalf of animals, the planet and people. By highlighting the benefits of sustainable food systems and compassionate choices, we have pushed.
For example in 2024, we influenced two policy reforms. The included encouraging Uganda Professional Chefs Union to consider preparation of vegan recipes and combos among the chef’s competition item which they vehemently embraced. We also influenced the Entebbe declaration at the 4revs Africa Climate Summit where stakeholders aged to adopt sustainable food systems and compassionate choices in order to achieve sustainable Development Goals.
